  • Road trip essentials!

My default thoughts when I think road trip go to fast food, and junky snacks, an excuse to go off track. ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿฅจ๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿง€๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ—

But....
.
Sitting all day driving is hard enough on the body.
.
Add in excess sugar, sodium, rancid oils and nutrient void foods, and it's a guaranteed combination to feel like ๐Ÿ’ฉ at the end of your day, and into the next. .
.
Self care is a huge buzzword these days, and it does include the food you're choosing to put in your body.  In fact it may be one of the greatest components to set yourself up for a successful self care routine .
That doesn't mean you can't have treats! But just make sure the majority of your food comes from whole food sources!

Not featured in this picture was about 6L of water (for 2 people), who cares if you have to make bathroom stops, it's good to get out and stretch anyhow.  And, cashews and dairyfree chocolate ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿ“ธ:
